Personal Injury
For people hurt by someone else's negligence across Columbus and central Ohio. We handle the claim so you can focus on recovering.
When You Have a Personal Injury Case
If you were hurt because someone else was careless, you may have a claim for your medical bills, lost wages, and the harm the injury has caused. The classic example is a car crash, but the same principle covers truck collisions, falls on unsafe property, and injuries from defective products or unsafe conditions. The question is usually not whether you were hurt, but whether another party's negligence caused it.
You do not have to figure that out alone. We will look at what happened, tell you honestly whether you have a case, and explain what it would involve. If you do not have a claim, we will say so. That is a more useful answer than a promise.
Matters We Handle
- Car, motorcycle, and commercial truck collisions.
- Slip, trip, and falls on unsafe property.
- Injuries to pedestrians and cyclists.
- Dog bites and injuries on residential property.
- Wrongful death claims for surviving family.
What to Do Before You Call Us
Be careful with the insurer. The other side's insurance company may call early, sound friendly, and ask for a recorded statement or a quick settlement. You are not required to give a statement, and an early offer is often far below what a claim is worth. It is reasonable to say you are seeking advice first.
Keep your records. Save medical records, bills, photos, the crash or incident report, and the names of anyone involved. Those details matter, and they are easier to gather now than later.
Mind the deadline. Ohio law sets a time limit for filing an injury claim. It is shorter than many people expect, and it can be even shorter when a government entity is involved. The sooner you talk to a lawyer, the more options you keep.
How the Fee Works
We handle personal injury cases on a contingency fee. You pay no attorney fee unless we recover for you, and the first consultation is free. We will explain the fee and any case costs in writing before you decide anything.
